Pepsi Sports Fiesta Brief
Pepsi Sport Fiesta is one of the largest youth sports tournaments in UAE. More than 6,000 amateur sports fans expected to take part in football, basketball, and cricket tournaments. Spectators can also enjoy a host of entertainment including Hip-Hop and break dance contests, martial arts demonstrations, live music and much more. The Pepsi Sport Fiesta is proof of our commitment to Dubai and its young people. The Fiesta helps encourage active lifestyles among the youth, while bringing together the many schools and colleges; it also welcomes the involvement of corporate sponsors, such as Wild Wadi.
Dubai Shopping Festival is used as a platform for the Pepsi Sports Fiesta event. There are three sporting events taking place, football, basket ball and cricket.
Within the Basket ball & Football games we have several events
PSF was previously held in Global Village and will be held at Zabeel Park in 2008.
Dubai Summer Surprise

Dubai Summer Surprises is the second biggest government lead event that takes place during the Hot summer days and it is mainly targeted at young children. The core proposition been “big fun for little ones”. |

The DSS objectives are to keep children busy in a constructive learning setting during the traditional down time of summer and the summer school break. |

Other objectives include the promotion of Dubai as a destination for GCC and other tourists with children over summer |

We set up a Mirinda Activity Zone to accommodate children of all age groups to allow our target market first hand brand experience. |

The activities offered consist of, MIRINDA DRAWING COMPETITION, MIRINDA PUZZLE, MIRINDA DART COMPETITION, MIRINDA CLAY MOLDING, & MIRINDA FACE PAINTING. |

Since the opening of Modhesh Fun City on 21st June 2007, the Mirinda stand has been visited by a total of 3,500 children and growing! |
Activity 1: Drawing Competition
This was one of our most popular activities where the children participated in the competition to draw the famous ‘Modhesh’! We had children lined up all day wanting to show off their drawing skills, sketching away the fun loving character.

Activity 2: Mirinda Puzzles
This particular activity was targeted at the brain solvers. Children worked away ticking their minds away trying to put the jumbled puzzle together. It stimulated and challenged them allowing them to work either individually or as a team to solve the puzzle.

Activity 3: Dart Board
The dart board activity attracted children of all ages, where they had to concentrate to hit the dart board in the right spot to obtain points. It requires skill and patience’s to be able to aim precisely and score; kids love it. Don’t worry they are magnet darts, so there we’re no injuries!!

Activity 4: Clay Molding
Children love being creative and making things … especially the youngster group (3-6yrs old); allowing them to be creative making what they like out of raw clay. Parents we’re close by assist and watching them with their creations enjoying molding and the learning experience.

Activity 5: Face Painting
Another popular theme was good old face painting… children we’re lining up to have the bright orange Mirinda brand painted onto their faces.

A young cancer patient visited the MIRINDA stand and left a special note. Here is a quote from the promotional staff regarding his visit.
“Seeing life, hope and joy in his eyes truly melted our hearts and made our day. The same feelings were also expressed by his family thanking us from the bottom of their hearts for making their child very happy!”
