HUSSAM DOUEIRI - DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
 Hussam is no stranger to our company and had served and contributed to DRC growth during his previous tenure. He is a Pepsi veteran in the true essence of the word as follows:

June 1991 graduated from Thunderbird School of Management with Master of International Business. |

Joined PI July 1991, and did a one year assignment in Pepsi COBO in South Carolina, US. |

Started with PI in Middle East on July 2002 as a Franchise Manager in Lebanon, with main task to build bottler capability and infrastructure investment ahead of Coke entry after the civil war years. Results 87% market share by end 1994 were coke bottler was eventually sold. |

Moved with PI to Jordan as a Franchise Manager in Jan 1995, and was seconded to Jordan Ice bottler by December 95 to head their Sales & Marketing Department with main task to upgrade the Sales organization into a world standard operator. Strong results were achieved and share was at an all time high at 84%, and coke international eventually stepped in and bought the coke bottler mid 1997. Continued in Jordan with Pepsi operation which became a COBO in June 1998. | |

Moved to Dubai in May 2000 to head Sales & Marketing as a secondee with DRC. |

In September 2002 was promoted to Assistant GM reporting to the Pepsi JV board and head all respective departments i.e. Finance, Manufacturing, HR, Sales, and Purchasing with broad responsibilty for Staffing, Annual plan, Strat Plan, investemen plan...Results were outstanding where SMLC achieved above target in Operating Profit in years 03, 04, 05, and 06 ( despite the war ). |
Hussam will lead the restructuring process on both operating and organizational aspects of our business at DRC.
