Stephen joined DRC in December 2006 as the Human Resources Manager with responsibility for Employee Services, Compensation & Benefits, HR Capability and Administration. When the company was restructured in August 2007 Stephen’s role changed to Corporate HR Manager with responsibility for HR strategy, long term capability and manpower planning, organizational development and change management.
After graduating in1980 with a BA(Hons) in Business Studies, Stephen joined a multinational oil company and began his career gaining sales, marketing and business analytical skills in the mature UK commercial market. In 1988 he transferred to the corporate Head Office and was involved in the co-ordination of the international business streams’ activities in the Near East, Middle East and Indian Sub-continent. In 1990 he was promoted to the region to manage the HR function for BP Middle East based in Dubai. In 1993 Stephen broadened his experience by moving into the construction and facilities management industry and was instrumental in the design and implementation of the full range of HR interventions within a large, multi-disciplinary organization in Dubai.
Stephen is also a Co-Active Coach and is working towards his professional accreditation in this exciting new field.
