 Wael is the Operations Director of Dubai Refreshments PSC, Dubai – United Arab Emirates.
Wael’s career in Beverage Industry began in January 1992 with Kuwait National Bottling Company (Kunabco – Pepsi Cola) as Quality Control Manager. In June 1997 he joined Al Qahtani & Sons for Beverage Industry (Aqs – Pepsi Cola) as Production Manager. Wael was also responsible in managing production, quality control, maintenance, Product Availability Management and motor pool departments.
Wael began his Pepsi career with Dubai Refreshments PSC in November 1st 2001 where he leads the manufacturing operation to safely deliver product in specs and within cost targets to sales. Ensure plant assets are maintained to meet supply chain demand. Ensure compliance to all local government regulatory requirements and PCC standards for operation. In addition to that, Wael has been leading several infrastructural projects to optimize DRC portfolio, plant capability, cost & quality.
Wael graduated from The American University in Cairo with Bachelor of Science degree major in Chemistry in the year 1990. Also, he got his MBA degree from the American University in Dubai in 2005
Wael was born on April 6th 1966 in Kuwait; he is married and has 3 children.
